CBD is a cannabinoid (molecule) found in the hemp plant. Hemp is ground down and made
into crude oil either with ethanol or CO2 extraction. From there, the crude oil goes through a refinement process to produce crystalline CBD. CBD is non-psychoactive, odorless, tasteless, and white in color. There is no “high” associated with ingesting or smoking CBD products.
At Dark Soil we have ISOLATE products that contain no THC and just the CBD molecule by itself. Then we have FULL SPECTRUM products that contain a combination of plant fats, lipids, and sugars plus other cannabinoids such CBN, CBC, CBG, and THC in trace amounts.
